Nailed it!

With the help of the boys we cleared all the toys, costumes, sticks, and trash out of the closet this afternoon - what is with boys and sticks? I found enough to build a log cabin!!! Perhaps I should have blipped the pile of sticks...I did find them a nice tall box to put in the corner for "stick storeage" - what are Mum's for right? ;0)

Whilst I had the closet empty I finally got around to pulling up the carpet tack strip that was left behind when we moved in and ripped out the disgusting old, filthy carpet. I practised some trust by holding the screwdriver under the strip while my 8 year old hit it with the hammer. Then made myself a well deserved espresso and some frappe's for the boys :0)
