The Clachnaharry Moon
A funny day. (Aren't they all?) Firstly I was vindicated in suggesting all was not right with Monday's beer. The brewery agreed and took it back. I was granted a free pint by the kind landlord. Secondly I discovered that the relatively new young barman from Shetland, is a mine of information on the history of language and culture. Very interesting when you consider that Scotland has never really had a unified language, apart from the English, which was imposed. And if you think Gaelic, no, a tongue which was never spoken in the northern isles.
