Failure

Both the thing itself and my attempted resuscitation.
One of the motion sensitive solar lights from my front steps. Water came out when I opened it so I left it on a radiator to dry out, then I removed any signs of corrosion, remade a dodgy looking solder joint and checked that the battery was charged. Switched on - - nothing.
Like much of modern electronics, many of the components are almost too small to see, so after removing the battery, its solar panel and LEDs, the rest is destined for the bin. Oh well, it was cheap.
