British Weather in mid-Sweden!

Yesterday was rather lovely with clear skies towards evening and a fine sky with Venus, the moon, and eventually other stars appearing as I was out for my walk.
After Jan and I both got home the temperature rose, the moon disappeared behind cloud and by the time we went to bed it was raining.  Waking up this morning and looking out the window the rain was still coursing down. More snow has disappeared and there are puddles on the ice - all very unpleasant and not at all what we used to expect in January.
Later in the day the sky cleared and we went out for a brief breath of fresh air, which felt good.
