Do Not Disturb

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

Today was an annoying day at work. Mainly because I was at work. But there were a lot of stupid questions and annoying things I had to deal with. 

Sometimes I feel like Punky here, squinting out at the world after being disturbed by irritating people.

Then again, I always have Caro to cheer me up. 

Tonight we were watching "The Crown". If you have not seen it, it is a high-quality drama. Extremely well-acted, accurate and well-written.

In one scene, a senior civil servant accidentally reveals to Elizabeth II that Winston Churchill has just suffered a stroke which his people have purposefully kept from her.

CARO: Oh no, now he's in for it.
ME: (Squelchy diarrhoea noises).
CARO: You, with your intellectual commentary.

This gave us both a fit of the giggles for about 10 minutes. We are very highbrow.

Let us hope for more award-winning drama tomorrow. It does raise one's spirits.
