Perfect Day, Perfect Storm

A very enjoyable day with a late start, some shopping errands for me, coffee at Apollo and then, together, a walk along the front at Copacabana finding two or three kiosks that were a grade above the rest.  One called Las Empanadas, just past the Othon Palace Hotel and another called something de Carioca, in front of the Pestana Hotel.    Great music and service and the food in both was prepared in view and not in the gloomy basements!  Then, on the way along the front, later, towards Sugar Load, after sunset, an exquisite lightening storm illuminated the said mountain from behind.  Now, at La Maison for dinner and Yahtzee!
