Recovery is Underway

I am grateful that PD's surgery went very well and the surgeon said that he expects him to have a good result.   He will be in the hospital until tomorrow afternoon.  He wondered why he had to stay in the hospital but, as you can see in my blip, we couldn't have done this at home!

He was still drowsy from the anesthesia and he got pain meds a while ago so he's sound asleep now.  His head was cold as usual so he's got his cozy hat on.  He wears a hat all winter, indoors and out. :-)

We will have a view of the sunset from his room so I'll add it as an extra later if it's a good one.
