 ' "A big" peaty slap in the face' - the description on the box of Laphroaig (other whiskies are available!). Not sure it's perfect, but I quite like a wee dram of the stuff occasionally. Reminds me of Famel syrup that I used to take as a child at the first hint of a cough. I liked it, and it worked! But it was banned some years ago because, apparently, it contained codeine and creosote...
