Sammi

Jordan day 2 -
From Madaba, with its 6th Century mosaic map of the Middle East, via Mt Nebo where Moses first looked out to see the Promised Land, to Sammi's coffee house. Perched vertiginously above an amazing mountain landscape, we ate lunch and drank tea whilst listening to Sammi's opinion on almost anything and everything. He isn't a fan of the Americans and, given the assassination of Qasem Soleimani later in the week, it would have been interesting to hear what he had to say on the matter. We finished the day with a visit to the Crusader citadel at Kerak
