Manuka trees

There were lots of busy bees on these trees and it would have made a good rhyme but sadly they seem to be very camouflaged.
I am just keeping on with my delightful, daily 10 mile circuit adding more weight to my rucksack each day in the hope that I will strengthen up all the necessary bits. Wasn’t quite so sunny today which was rather pleasant, there isn’t much of an ozone layer in these parts and the sun can be quite harsh. I have never worn so much sunscreen and still my skin feels a bit scorched by the end of the day.
The hostel continues to be busy with all kinds of fit and active folk passing through and a couple of long term residents who are both very easy company. It’s quite a bizarre thing this hostel life, new room mates every night that you don’t know from Adam and yet it all seems to tick along with no major problems. I will be ready for a couple of nights in my own wee tent though after my stay here, so will start to plan a little tramp for then.
