Lights Oot!

We had a power cut today, and it was dark before power was restored. It wasn't just us - a whole section of the estate was completely dark - houses, street lights - everything. It was quite eerie driving back from the train station, seeing everything so dark. With no power, we opted for a trip to McDonalds for dinner, and, on the way home, a nice lady from SP Energy Networks phoned to say the power was back on. Hurrah!

This is a rather dark photo of Aidan playing with the wee electronic candle-thingers that we normally stick in the pumpkins at Halloween.
