Comings and goings

A short walk looking for signs of Spring.

The comings are doing well. With Snowdrops almost ready to open and with daffodils pushing through strongly.
The goings are in the woods with fungi making sure that the dead and fallen trees go back into the soil to feed their replacements.

I did not find the 43 native and alien self sown wild plants in flower which Gladders recorded round the village on New Years Day. But I did find Ivy leaved Toadflax and primroses in flower.
