Watching the Birds

Dear Diary,

Every morning, Louisa May likes to sit by the back door and watch the birds come to the back porch buffet, not that there are as many of them as in past years.  Here we are in the second week of January and not a squirrel, grey or red, has come.  (I wonder what she would do if she saw fat Gaylord or cheeky Rudy?)  It is most unusual and, for me, disconcerting not to have my regular contingent of squirrels.  I keep putting out peanuts but they are taken by racoons at night or Blue Jays in the daytime. But Louisa likes to watch the birds and if you think her whiskers look a little blurred that is because she is "chattering" at them!  I am submitting Louisa May's tiny nose as an entry for Tiny Tuesday.
