No new blessing

January 2019 we had the blessing of the village "Sternsänger" - Star Singers.

We have been on standby for a few days as one can't be sure which day they will be coming around and indeed it is a guessing game if they will come at all as we live outside the village and are dependent on adults to bundle the group into a car and come out to us.

Sadly they didn't appear today, the 'normal' day as it is Epiphany better known here as Helig Drei König -Holy Three Kings. The donation & chocolate rewards for the children remain untouched.

2019 was not a great year, so hope maybe the blessing was simply delayed and will arrive in 2020.

Time to think about taking down the Christmas decorations. In our household, this can take about 11 months.
