Fire Fighting Helicopter

Fighting fires is now a different matter than it was.  The equipment has progressed from wet sugar bags to huge aircraft and helicopters.  I heard that the helicopters had been moved down from the top of the mountain to our area due to lack of visibility.  So Rick and I went searching and sure enough there were 6 helicopters on a sporting field waiting.    This is a small one from Parks and Wildlife that landed while we were there. 

The extras are some of the other helicopters and the command centre.  The red soft buckets lying on the ground are the containers they carry the water in.
