Still a panic animal blip but done a bit earlier while cleaning out the rodent room! As well as our 3 rats, we have had various guinea pigs to stay - at one point, a nerve racking mix of boys and girls! Strict cage opening rules were enforced as I believe it’s not the done thing to send pregnant guineas home after their holidays.

Today felt a lot like wading through mud at work. It’s going to be a very long 4 weeks I fear. Not helped by my GP calling this afternoon with a diagnosis of vitamin B12 deficiency and 6 injections at the surgery to be fitted in over the next fortnight, presumably followed up with more blood tests. Oh joy.
