Student Grant.....

Another day of mixed weather. Dry at first then a couple of hours of heavy rain mid day followed by a drier spell.
A wee surprise in one of the sheds this morning. One of the cows that was PD’d yeld in November by the vet has calved. Hope it has sucked as she wasn’t letting anyone near it. Getting too old for heroics so we will see what happens.
A different scan man here today doing the X ewes. Out of the 589 done there were only 11 yeld , so not too bad.87 singles and 108 triplets , all the rest are twins. Hopefully we can set some of the triplet lambs onto ewes with singles !
Another trip into town tonight as Junior off out again. Not long left till I haul him off back to Uni.
