Unfortunately there were no rags left in the flat after the weekends cleaning and clearing, but fortunately I took my work bag with at lunchtime to carry the wire wool, paint scraper and glubs for taking off the remains of the outer layer of paint on the boiler cupboard window, so also had my spare socks.
