A Week of Gales Ahead

A beautiful sunrise first thing, and then clouded over, and showers in the afternoon.  Gales have been blowing all day.

Last day of my holidays, and shock to the system tomorrow.  I got the Christmas decorations down, and all packed away and back up on the loft.  Headed down the road after lunch, walkies with Sammy, and then popped along sister Laura.  She wasn't in, but mam and Elise were there.  Working a long shift in the pub tonight.  Been busy taking down the Christmas decorations there too.

It's not a great forecast for the week coming, gales, gales and more gales.  The seas weren't as rough as I was expecting, but they'll soon build up over the week.  Ferries are due to be cancelled, thank goodness we got home before this!  Taken at Garthness, Dunrossness.
