Pont du Gard

So that is one location off the bucket list. Amazing location, and we had excellent light. Spent the morning in Avignon, which was very windy and cold. Pont du Gard on the other hand gave us beautiful sunlight and warmth. It is truly outstanding that this structure is 2000 years old. Built in the time of Claudius apparently, which means it makes slap bang on 2000 give or take.
