Home so soon

Home can be so noisy but it’ll distract him. And a good sleep is more likely.

He thinks his body is like a dot-to-dot. He has 3 wounds from the lung surgery he needed having had 3 pneumothoraces, 1 long slice from the sternotomy, 1 wound in a thigh and 2 large drain wounds from the aortic surgery and now a 3 inch cut for the appendix.

How could we not be extremely grateful for our NHS? Having had my mother, my father and my friend Chris in hospital for long periods and LongLegs in too, I’ve done a fair amount of hospital visiting too.
