From Silver Grey to Turquoise
This year, I decided to follow a CAL (Crochet Along) to make a temperature blanket. We look up the daily temperatures for where we live and create a palette of colours that represent two temperatures at a time.
All my colours have lovely names: Silver, Parma Violet, Lavender, Sherbet, Wisteria, Clematis and Turquoise. These colours range from 0C (32F) to 9C. Those are the temperatures we have experienced so far in January.
The middle part of the tiny granny square is the lowest temperature of the day. The second round is the highest of the day. The neutral white is just a joining colour.
The colours will change as the temperatures warm up.
So far, our January temperatures have been slightly above average.
If any crochet (or knitting) lovers wish to follow this challenge. Here is the link: https://lullabylodge.blogspot.com/2019/12/the-hot-cold-blanket-join-me-in-2020.html
There have been some wonderful old films on the TV lately - like 'The Sound of Music' (I still love it) and 'South Pacific'! Perfect for my crochet time!
