Harley Davidsons

Many of the Elmslie residents were at lunch by the time we left today after packing up Lois’s Room. Their walkers were lined up on both sides of the corridor, and Jill had heard this expression that they were the “ Harley Davidsons” of the Rest Home!

Thank you so much for the lovely messages you left with yesterday’s Blip. You are very kind. It has been a very focussed time for us. A real privilege supporting someone in the last years of their life- but also an exhausting role at times. We can not speak highly enough of the care by the staff at Elmslie House- so respectful and supportive.

I hope to get back into a routine again soon, looking and commenting on your photos- I have missed it as part of my lovely daily habits.
