Funny Face

Here is Katie tonight. Jessica, Katie and I were messing around taking pictures and I just love the expression on Katie's face here!!

Well Jessica's foot is a tiny little bit better but still very sore. I antiseptically cleaned it again this morning and put another plaster on it to keep it safe.

I dropped the kids at school and then collected Granny, Papa and Snuffles and headed down to the Dogs Trust. It was a very quiet journey! When I spoke with them they said they were full to capacity and that I should try and contact the breeder. She was on my FB page so I sent her a message explaining that I couldn't keep the dog anymore. She seemed very sympathetic and said yes, so we headed up to her house. When I arrived she was at work and it was her husband. He said he wasn't taking her. They have a dog about to have puppies and he didn't think it was a good idea.

We then headed to the SSPCA......I was dumbfounded by their response...... it went along the lines of "....we are a rehoming service and would be unable to take your dog due to her biting. I advise that you take her to your vet and have her put to sleep!!!"

The final part of the journey was back to the Dogs Trust. I completed the forms but as she is a biter then they need to refer it to their manager but cannot promise anything! We had to bring her back again which is so not what I wanted, sorry. She is at Granny and Papa's now but my kids will not see her again not even from a distance. I have cried all day, every time I try to talk about it I start again.....I am so so so very cross with myself as this is all my own fault. I should have dealt with it differently and I have allowed it to continue and the end result being yesterday's blip. Hindsight is such a wonderful thing!!

I put my kids and other people in danger too from a wee dog with a nasty personality.

Tomorrow we will hopefully hear from the Dogs Trust.

The kids are all ok, still upset but not quite so teary today. They do fully understand but having a puppy just so wasn't supposed to end up like this.
