12th Night

This year I made 'green' decorations and my 'tree' was a bough of very jaggy Juniper from the garden. Decorated with cinnamon scented pinecones and wooden stars made sparky with biodegradable glitter. 
It probably wasn't the smartest idea to have people round for post holiday food yesterday; although I love cooking for people and it was a lovely evening, it took me all day to clear up, sort out the leftovers and take down my very scratchy decorations. Ended up with glitter everywhere and a rash from detangling the lights form the 'tree'.  However, the house is clean and tidy, dinner was leftovers and there is plenty more in the freezer.
