All things me

.. I can, however, cook a Squash & Feta tart

That title is purely for the benefit of my Facebook feed. Sorry about that. I don't normally blip for FB.

It's been a funny day. Quite a nice one though.

Mr KP went back to work and out from under my feet..
I got back from the school run and despite having actually made an effort when i'd got dressed, decided to chuck my joggers and trainers on and pretend to be a runner for a bit. I did the c25k day 1, week 1 again. Haven't done it in an age. It nearly killed me! Mega unfit me. It was a fab, crisp freezing morning for it though and Mr KP had bought me earmuff headphones for Xmas so I could listen to music and keep my ears warm!

When I got back I looked around the house and decided to sod doing all the jobs as its going to snow tomorrow. They can be done then.

I treated myself (that was sarcastic) and went to Chippenham.
To Tesco for some onion chutney to go in the tart thing/a fabric shop for a zip (more on that later)/Poundland just because I like rummaging for useful bargains and then coffee & cake in a lovely little Chocolate shop. The shop is owned by someone I met at my hairdressers shortly after I stopped being a chocolatier. We got chatting and I've bumped into her a couple of times since then. I follow her business on Facebook and admire her for getting it together and just going for it.
We chatted while I drank my coffee. It was nice.

So then I drove home reeeeeally wanting my own little cafe all over again. I'd put that one in a box and hidden it for a while. It sneaked out while I wasn't looking. Bah. One day...

I had an apple to compensate for the caramel shortcake, walked the mutt then went to listen to the littlest person's class do reading. I love doing that.

After school we came home and I tried to sew a case for my nexus using the aforementioned zip.
Fail.
Bah again.

I'm supposed to be going to the spa in Bath with some friends tomorrow evening. A kind of late Christmas present to ourselves. Did I mention its going to snow? Hmm... Whilst rooftop pool in the snow would be amazing, driving there and back won't be if we get what we're forecast.

Despite it potentially spoiling my night out though, a snow day tomorrow does sound appealing :)
