Back to normal

As anticipated, it was a very late night, with lots of bubbles and endless delicious nibbly things, so a very slow start this morning. Thankfully, Kerri and Luke came to take Archie out for a walk. When they came back, they had a cuppa and helped us with some Christmas cake while telling us about their recent holiday adventure in Panama and the Galapagos.

In the afternoon we relaxed and watched a couple more episodes of the Norwegian detective series on at the moment. Also snoozing was done.

I popped our holiday dates on a website for house sitters, and we've got 30 replies last night. I've stopped them coming in - we should be able to find the ideal Archie sitters for next summer.

We have taken down the decorations, so the place looks a bit bare, but I’m always pleased when routines are back to normal and the news is on at the proper time.
