Looking across the countryside from the canal.

After an indulgent long lie in, I had a good breakfast, went out to buy the Sunday paper, and then wrapped up all the Christmas tree decorations, and put them back in their boxes for December time. It looks bare but 
neat, clean and more spacious in our living room.
I went for a long circular blip walk.  This meant I clocked up 8,022 steps. It is mild but overcast. I took several shots of trees and plants, but this countryside capture is my favourite because it has many beautiful natural colours.
