Testing the newly installed driftwood

Some of the photos in this montage have a fair amount of blur. I don't mind that as it captures Jasper's mad-as-a-cut-snake mood.

I was put in 1/2 hour weeding this evening and he gave the driftwood I dug into place a couple of days ago, a fair old test. It's still upright.

I did a reasonable job of balancing my time between pleasurable activities and what needs to be done. Tomorrow I'm back to work and I needed to do some preparation for the week ahead.

There is always something else to do.

Today's gratitude: For taking the time to reflect on my time off. That's helped my perspective and nurtured a positive start to the year.
