In the Clouds

After lunch, Suejay50 and I drove over to view Saunton sands. I wasn't too sure how lucky we would be with the weather, as had already been hit with  a short sharp shower in town this morning! From our viewpoint the sun was shining over on Lundy Isle, but  looking across to Hartland Point, there was rain on its was so off we went. 

Passed by Croyde as the beach was quiet, and headed further up the coast to Woolacombe. We parked up to view a paraglider. It was great to watch the pilot wheeling and gliding  above the hill before doing a figure of eight to gently lose height, and to land on the beach below. After calling in to the local cafe and a hot chocolate, we headed home.
