No time for swanning about

Slept well, stuck to dry January last night, hub had a couple of glasses of wine, but I resisted, so far anyhow!

Needed a couple of bits in town this morning, got those, had a quick coffee, before walking back, got todays blip en route......weather a bit grey, a bit damp and a bit chilly.

We got all the storage boxes down from the loft, then hub went out to clean the car, whilst I took the tree and decorations down, its always so much quicker putting it all away, thank goodness!! Its all safely stashed away now until later this year!

Also had a clear out of some coats and clothes that had been on a rail in the loft for far too long! They included the cream suit I wore when we got married over 25 years ago, so its pretty old & in the bin!! The coats are going to the charity shop as they are too big for me now, as are two single quilts & pillows with childrens covers on them, as the girls have outgrown those!

Then went on to change the bedding in 2 of the spare rooms, its all been washed & dried, going to do our room tomorrow, so thats another job out of the way.

Got a chicken roasting in the oven.....going to use the darker meat in a chinese curry, with special fried rice for dinner tonight, and then the breasts for a roast dinner tomorrow.

A pretty busy day all in all, but not so much on the walking front.......
