When I left the house with Ruby, Joe was watching the episode of Harry Potter when Lucius Malfoy frees Dobby by giving him a sock.

When I dropped Ruby at the flat, Eve gave me a sock for Joe that had been mixed up in her washing pile.

Coincidence?

Anyway, when I returned to free Joe he immediately made the most of it by inviting Sophie round.
