2 outta 3 ain't bad!

Got the stove on mid morning, it was only 2 C in there....and after meditation and breakfast it was almost 12C!   Not exactly a comfortable temperature, but good enough to get started.   I loaded up the stove and within 1/2 hour it was a toasty 20C!!!

Noodled about with 3 paintings....this one is by far the one i'm happiest with, feels like it might be done!   12" x 12" cradled birch panel with cold wax and oil.   The first one in the extras is by far the 'dog' of the 3....just couldn't get it to work...but hey ho, no problemo, let it dry up a bit and slap some more paint on and we'll see what we get!   The other extra, 2 x 8" x 8"cradled board, i'm kinda liking.....could work together or as 2 separate pieces!!!

Terry and i headed out around 3.30pm to have a walk around Delam Lake, it takes about 45 minutes and it was good to get out and walk .... the path was nicely packed down!!   Then into Sydney for some supplies and dinner out at Swiss Chalet...one of my old time favorites...it never disappoints!!!
