Our road

Gratitude project Day 4.
Today I am grateful for my two amazing children. Even though our decision to move to Australia was based on their futures, I would never have predicted the direction they would both take, becoming first responders, committed to helping people in need.
Luke is traveling to Sydney tomorrow on a military plane to join the firefighting efforts in SE NSW.
Candice will qualify this year as a paramedic in Brisbane.
So proud of them both...and always so worried about them...such is the nature of parenting.
