Puddle

It started raining heavily in the night and rained for most of morning. We stayed in and cooked bacon, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans and roesti for breakfast. We ventured out with the umbrellas about midday as the rain was a lot lighter. It was still warm and the air fresh after the rain. I was wishing we could send some down south. We looked in the shops we hadn’t seen and checked out some other places to eat. We stopped for a smoothie then later for a good coffee. Back at the unit we contemplated going for a quick swim but the thunder and lightning started again. Fortunately it cleared up as we had booked a table at a Mexican restaurant for dinner. The food was fabulous as were the cocktails and we walked home very satisfied and dry.
I took a photo of a puddle (as you do) on our way to the shops at lunchtime. The right hand photo shows the reflections in the same puddle on our way out in the evening - such a difference.
