Friday in Paradise

Another lazy day. We went shopping in the town as I needed a new swimsuit. My others are so old and saggy baggy when wet. I keep bumping in Asher Keddie (Australian actress who is with her sister, also an actress). Next time (it’s a small town) I will pluck up the courage to speak to her and ask her for a photo. I loved her in Offspring. Neither of us bought anything in the swimwear shop and I went to the other one where I found something I liked and I also bought us some of those towels that the sand doesn’t stick to. We had lunch back at the unit then went to the beach. It had become choppy and windy and we could see some storms moving around us. We only stayed about half hour in the water then went back. It rained a bit but had stopped by the time we walked back into town for dinner. The mozzies were extreme back then and every table had insect spray. This time there were not any - maybe because they haven’t had a lot of rain yet. Our Seafood Linguine was magnificent. No apologies for posting a lot of food blips. We don’t get the seafood and modern flavours back home. I have put us in extras to prove we were there. The only thing we missed was the thousands of bats flying to the inlet. We may have been too early or they have moved them on.
