last day of the year...glad to see the back of 2019. the good bits were great, but the rest was a bit meh. could have been much worse though...so grateful for our lot.

we managed to get to cromdale while it was still light - stopping at aberlour to stock up on gin and tonic on the way. I love driving through the villages on the way up cromdale seeing everyone getting ready for hogmanay - there’s always a bit of a buzz.

we went for a quick walk with mike and morag before settling in for a night of games, curry, fireworks, viola-playing from eleanor and a few drinks and new year kisses when the bells came.

lots of top-notch action at the monkey-window this year!
