19.the pristine path

As I wandered through town idly entertaining the thought it might be quicker to walk home than catch the bus. Then rejecting the idea on the basis I'm not a complete mentalist, masachist and being absolutely sure that in the warmth of the bus my surely faulty maths would melt away. I saw this untouched footpath near the university. I thought this was pretty amazing seeing as there were people everywhere, rushing to the warm place, and not one of them had chosen it as their route home..
