Back Down the Road

Goodbye to N&C, heading back to Aberdeen, and goodbye to P&K, with many thanks for their immense hospitality.
As usual the drive was wet, but we stopped in at Bruar for some hot banana chutney. Which later we opened - well, there were veggie snacks to polish off and some can be slightly bland if you're used to a diet of smoked trout and venison liver.
Fire on, feet up and we finished the evening in the company of an old friend - preposterous, boring at times, and often OTT, but still an old friend.
