Get The Shooters, George
My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,
My Christmas present from Feefs last year was some cinema vouchers and instructions to take Caro to see The Gentlemen.
In case you did not know, this is Guy Ritchie's latest film and is a return to his, "Ere! 'Old up!", "I'll 'ave yew, yew taaaaaart!" and "Claret was imminent" beginnings.
It was not as good as "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" a film for which I will always have a particular affection. But we still enjoyed it very much. And it does feature another film-stealing performance from Hugh Grant.
It is funny. I used to find him hugely irritating, but now I just love everything that he appears in. From this to "A Very English Scandal" to "Florence Foster Jenkins", he has become this national treasure.
Hugh aside, this film features the most uses of the very bad naughty word you should never use since The Favourite last Christmas. In fact there may be even more C-bombs dropped in this film.
I mention this because I know you are all very delicate flowers, and I should hate for any of you to be offended.
