Where are all the tourists...?
A lunchtime blipwalk around Princes Street Gardens. The gardens are very popular in the summer and VERY busy during the festival because of the outdoor theatre.
Although the summer months also brings a tourist obsession for couples to sprawl on the grass in untidy heaps and kiss and fondle IN PUBLIC !
Don't they know - we Scots abhor any public displays of affection (unless, of course, preceded by drinking copious amounts of alcohol. Under these conditions we love EVERYONE !).
It was too cold for tourists today but we spotted a couple of tents pitched in the gardens (Horrors ! Has anyone contacted the parkie??) protesting over something or other.
A lovely stroll around the gardens then back to the mothership for a hot soup.
If you want to view some other pics from our walk click HERE.
Back home and it's taking ages to heat the house. Fire's on and heating at full bung but I still can't warm up. It's even too cold to leave the fireplace and go pee !
Snow forecast for tomorrow! Keep safe and cosey/cool blippers!
