Shifting sunlight

The kitchen, south-facing, is a warm and sunny place to be in winter. This was just before the sun slipped past the angle of the window, and just before the Christmas decor goes away for another year. Today started cold (and with a phone call from William, who’d unfortunately had a flat tire while biking to work) and grew mild enough to putter around in the garden for a happy hour.
