Big Band

A number of Portland jazz big bands take turns playing on Monday nights at the Jack London Revue. Tonight, the band Eric leads, took its turn. Friends and family helped fill the place; in fact, the manager said it was the biggest crowd so far since they started this last spring. Could be because of the good music they play, could be because of the season, or it could even be because of the running commentary Eric makes from his seat in the trombone section.
The best part, of his jokes and comments, is watching the band's reaction; they get a real kick out of him.
