Hello!

Today we had a very pleasant drive around the area and ended up with lunch in the sweet village of Withypool. As a child I spent many a happy hour paddling in the lovely little river at its heart. A bit too damp for this kind of activity today! However Exmoor is always beautiful in any weather!

After a very nice relaxed lunch we rounded the outing of with a pint at the unusual pub The Poltimore Arms. With electricity provided by a generator and a rather basic interior and a very alternative landlord it was different to say the least!

Then all to soon it was time to return to our friend home for a delicious supper. Home in the morning and back to the grind stone!
