Hot shoe

Sitting on my slippers in front of a hot radiator: a feline fantasy. Why do cats generally have a shoe fetish?

Rollercoaster day. Lots of ups and downs. Culminated in a power cut just after eight pm that took out the whole neighbourhood for nearly an hour. Strider and I sat there by our one battery powered lamp and talked politics and stoicism. Rather pleasant actually.

Going back to work after the trauma of the last couple of weeks was not easy.  I’m too old for all this ...
