20years plus

A long time ago, fate brought me and this lovely lady together on a uni placement. We stuck it out together and got through it. Since then life has thrown us some curve balls too. We may not live near each other and therefore don’t see each other for long periods of time but every time we do it is like I saw her yesterday. She has been so brave with her life choices and forged a way through - carving her own path. Sometimes she has worried me but mostly she makes me proud to call her my dear friend. She is bright, intelligent and vibrant. I am mainstream to her hippy. Somehow it just works. The kettle is always on and the tea always flows and kindness comes in bundles.
