On Yer Bikes!

Our friend Chris left for home late morning so we hopped on our bikes to try to wear off some of the excesses of the last two weeks.

The light was pretty grim so I've used the "Morning" setting on Snapseed to give this shot of the ponds on the bird reserve a bit of interest.

This afternoon was spent doing some post-festivities clearing up / reorganising, including delving into the furthest recesses of the drinks cupboard to make room for a few half empty bottles. I had to dispose of a few of those drinks you bring back off holiday and which never see the light of day again; in this case, a herb-based spirit from Prague (tasted good after a few Budvars), a passion fruit and honey punch from Madeira (what possessed us?) and an almost empty bottle of Campari that was possibly at its best when Leonard Rossiter, Joan Collins and Lorraine Chase were in their prime.
