Not the singer (who is from here) but a Mallard.  Now and then, I just have to stop and admire the plumage they have.  So common it is so easy to overlook....

I was supposed to be going on this walk with a good friend but she texted to say that she was on her way to the clinic as she is unwell. So much of it going around this season.  Shame...hopefully, feeling like a good walk soon.
