Tom & Jim

I popped down to Lullingstone Castle to wish Tom and some of his volunteers a happy new year. I wasn't the only one who'd popped in.

Jim Buttress (The People's Gardener) has a long association with The World Garden and Lullingstone. I could tell Tom still valued his advice immensely. 

A lot of hard work has been going on, overgrown trees removed, new specimens planted allowing old vistas to be seen again. 

The first clump of Snowdrops have appeared and early signs of new growth were evident everywhere. By April the public will be in for a treat.
