everything must go (again)

We visit the new house this morning with biscuits for the builders, who are doing a few 'favours' before we move in at the end of next week.

But before all that, we continue with the saga of the heating system in the Train Shed.  Anniemay is nothing if not resourceful.  She decides to wash her hair in the sink using water from the kettle and a jug.  I have a go and it reminds me of my childhood, with my Mum washing my hair in the kitchen sink with a jug of warm water.  Happy days.

An engineer finally comes this morning. He confirms that it is the water heater that's tripping the RCD switch.  He makes a temporary fix and arranges for a new part to be delivered asap.  So at least the heating is working now.

And then a quick trip into CMK for a couple of errands and a blip.  That's half of the CMK blue plaques done now.
